The official start of homecoming is Oct. 2. The day will kick off with an alumni chapel at 10am in the cathedral. Craig Congdon will be the speaker of the service.
At 7:30 p.m., gather your friends and head over to the Bill George Arena where the current men’s basketball team takes on former team players.
If basketball is not your thing, then check out “Harvey,” the fall freshman play which starts at 7:30 p.m. To purchase tickets, go to jbu.edu/tickets.
On Oct. 3 at 3 p.m., there is an Ultimate Frisbee match. At 11 a.m., the current rugby team faces the alumni rugby players. At noon, head on to the Bill George Arena to cheer on the volleyball team as they take on Southwestern Christian. At 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., you can catch the women and men’s soccer games. Also, there is another opportunity to watch the freshman play, “Harvey,” at 1p.m. in case you missed it on Friday. To wrap things up, head over to the Berry Performing Arts Center to watch the documentary, “Loving Lynda.” Tickets are five dollars per person.
